Sometimes it's hard to explain certain situations except using music analogies.
Once upon a time, there was The Beatles, also known as the Fab Four. There was Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and John Lennon.
And then along came Yoko Ono. George Harrison got pissed off because Yoko Ono's words and suggestions seemed to weigh more than his own in the band (although McCartney was the driving force of the team, Lennon technically started the team). Harrison increasingly got fed up as Lennon took Yoko Ono's words more and more seriously and prioritised her.
The chasm in the group therefore, started with Harrison's disgruntlement.
McCartney, tried to patch the group up but in the end, got increasingly fed up with the drama that is being created, especially when Lennon got pissed off at McCartney for not seeming to understand the new dynamism that was emerging between him and Yoko Ono.
Lennon, wanted the best of both worlds. He wanted The Beatles AND side projects with Yoko Ono. And whenever he gets the chance, he brought Yoko Ono along to every Beatles meeting. They were inseperable. But the other members of The Beatles had a tough time adapting to this. Afterall, it's The Beatles. Not The Beatles plus Yoko Ono. Meanwhile, Ringo Starr was relaxing one corner, not wanting to get involved or embroiled in all the drama. Ringo Starr, was the Switzerland of the group. Anyway, Lennon insisted on his ways and so did McCartney. If there's one thing McCartney and Lennon had in common, it's that they are both really stubborn in their own ways.
Despite knowing that they made the best music together, unparalleled to any other bands in the world or many musical eras to come, The Beatles went their separate ways.

This is a tribute to the 60s and 70s. I wish I could go back in time for one day, be in England and see it all...Blondie live...mods going around on scooters...The Clash (although I'll be scared shitless in the mosh). What sparked it off? Well, Cool for Cats by Jessica Adams. There was a mention of Blondie's Dreaming in there somewhere and it's an awesome song (the Smashing Pumpkins' version is fucking annoying though). Blondie - Dreaming Dream, dream, even for a little while Dream, dream, filling up an idle hour Fade away radiate I sit by and watch the river flow I sit by and watch the traffic go Imagine something of your very own; something you can have and hold I'd build a road in gold just to have some dreaming Dreaming is free Mod - A Documentary (The Secret Affair Time For Action) The Clash - I Fought The Law I fought the law and the law won I fought the law and the law won I needed money because I had none I fought the law and the law won I fought the law and the law won Also, I bought The Boat That Rocked original VCD from Batam.
